The storage is the main engineering choice. A full-base ottoman cavity at 25cm deep is more useful for duvets and seasonal clothing than drawer divans, where side clearance and drawer boxes steal usable volume; the trade-off is more dependence on lift hardware than a simple fixed divan or a slatted wooden bedstead. As a divan, it gives a continuous platform rather than the sprung-slat response of many bed frames, so the base is about steadiness and storage access, not changing the feel with flexible slats. Fantastic bed, easy to use and looks fabulous. Putting it together was far easier than I though, just putting the wheels and headboard on and it was ready to go!
Happy with item but quality control on the item could of been better
We went to a few different stores to look at beds and mattresses before we settled on dreams. We settled on dreams for a few reasons, one being their outstanding customer service. I felt like we were treated as individuals and they really went that extra mile to ensure a bed and mattress were found which matched putt requirements. I have suffered with joint pain persistently and am certain it was from poor mattress on my old bed as this has now eased on my new mattress. I have suffered insomnia for a long time and am sleeping better than ever. I cant thank them enough. Even the delivery people were respectful, cheery and efficient. Excellent company and would highly recommend.

A very comfortable bed. The headboard is well secured and a sturdy fit, and the Ottoman mechanism is very easy to use and provides great storage. All in all a very successful purchase.

We moved home in February and purchased a lot of new furniture of which the silver ottoman based bed and mattress was one. I have to say that although it is in the spare bedroom (which my granddaughter has claimed as hers) I have slept in it on numerous occasions and I must say that I get a good nights sleep......not only is it such a comfy bed but space saving too. It holds a lot. I keep my spare bedding in it and there is still room for some toys. A perfect choice for our new home.
I brought this bed a few weeks ago and am really pleased with my purchase it fits so much underneath it which was wasted space . Delivery guys were so professional and even when I had a slight issue after delivery it was quickly resolved .it's easy to lift up too
I've bought this item this January. I had to wait 1 month and a half to get it but I'm so very pleased with it. I chose the light gray and it pairs beautifully with my white furniture, it's more light than in the picture which was great for me. It's easy to lift and has a lot of storage. It takes a bit of strength to pull down though. I have assembled this bed alone, it takes a bit more time but it's easily manageable. The hardest part is putting the mattress on the bed, which I had to do with the lids up. In the instructions sheet it doesn't mention when to attach the wheels and that should be the first thing you do. After that just put them together side by side, tightly, open the lids and screw the units together. After that just screw the lids together and you're done! It's a very good ottoman and perfect for a tiny house like mine
I brought this a few weeks ago. Only disappointment was the hydrochloric mechanism on one side to open and close the ottoman frame with was fitted the wrong way. They should be down not up. This was frustrating as still waiting for it to be replaced. So not used the bed as yet and couldn't as it wouldn't shut even with a mattress on. I had to go into store to explain and they didn't understand until I physically showed them.
