The mid sleeper is amazingly sturdy, and solid my daughter absolutely loves her new bed. The shelves and the desk make a great place for storage, and her crafts and homework at the desk. She also uses the space behind the bed for a den.

Positives: the bed frame. The bed is all right, but I had a hard time assembling it. It was two of us. 28 screws just for the slats. Due to the assembly complexity I would not buy this product again. I don't like the desk - how it's assembled and the way it's held together with the bed frame. The cube is still kept in a spare room (after a week) due to the strong odour (fibre board style). One of the slats is cracked so I have asked for a replacement one.

Bought this for my three and a half year old as we’ll need to convert his toddler bed back to a cot soon for my daughter. He manages the steps absolutely fine, I like that it’s not too high but he still feels super grown up. Decent bed for the money, the desk pulls out as far as you like so my son likes it part way out so he can crawl through and use under the bed like a den.The shelves on the desk part aren’t as deep as I imagined so limited on what you can actually store there. I was unsure if the drawers and shelves could be interchanged as saw mixed answers but as you can see from the image they can perfectly. My only negative is that the side panels on our bed are really tough and seem unfinished compared to the rest of the bed. We checked they weren’t fitted the wrong way. Other than that a lovely bed, just a shame about the quality of those sides or would have definitely been 5 star from us.
